Rescue Day 2018 - The Final Countdown...

Rescue Day 2018 on Saturday 7 July at 7 Lakes Country Park in Crowle will be another action packed day of live displays, including all of our emergency and rescue services! They'll be 999 scenarios featuring road, rail, fire, water and aircraft incidents, where you'll see Police, Fire, Ambulance, Water and Rail teams working in a variety of exciting displays.

The final countdown is on to this Saturday's event. Gates open to the public at 09:30am, the opening ceremony takes place at 10:15am and the first of the action packed scenarios begin at 10:45am with a rail crash incident.

This year we will have large screens in operation so you will be able to get even closer to some of the action... plus if England progress into the quarter finals of the World Cup on Saturday afternoon (Come on England!) you'll be able to enjoy the sunshine at Rescue Day and you won't miss a single kick either!

The full Rescue Day 2018 Display Schedule will be available on our website later this week.

During the morning (operations permitting) the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and the National Air Police Service (NPAS) helicopter will be landing at Rescue Day. Lee Ridley, AKA Lost Voice Guy, winner of Britains Got Talent 2018 will be performing his unique comedy at 12:00 in the North arena, followed by opportunities for photos/autographs at 12:30, 13:30 and 14:30.

The fantastic Red Devils Parachute Display Team will be making a spectacular landing into the lake at 13:00. Plus between 12:00 and 14:00 Lincs FM's John Marshall will be at Rescue Day doing live broadcasts on the radio and maybe getting involved in some of our live scenarios too!

They'll be lots of emergency and rescue vehicles (present and past!), equipment and personnel to see and interactive with, plus some very popular rescue dogs too from our Fire, Police and Water rescue agencies. Our teams will be pleased to talk to you, show you what they do and answer any questions you may have. The aim of Rescue Day is to show the public what our services do and to give advice on road, fire, rail, water, home and community safety, all wrapped up in a fun day for all the family.

There's lots more to see and do too, including boat rides on the main lake, pony rides, go carts, fun fair, stalls and attractions, food/drink/bar and much more.

The sun is booked, so please make sure you keep well hydrated and wear a hat and sun cream. Car parking is free, please follow the signs and our stewards who will direct you - please use the free public car parks and respect the residents of Ealand and Crowle by not parking in their streets. Please note only assistance dogs are permitted entry into Rescue Day, and no drone aircraft are allowed.

Entry tickets can be purchased online in advance from our Ticket Page, or on the day at the gate with cash only. Please see our Event Information page for full event details, security information and event safety.

Best wishes,

from all the Rescue Day Team x
